What is Shiatsu?

Literally translated as ‘finger pressure’, Shiatsu massage is a dynamic Japanese body therapy, focusing on gentle pressure points to balance energy flow. Shiatsu includes the use of flowing stretches and gentle rotations of the limbs and joints, simple structural alignments and muscle release techniques. It is also a deeply relaxing massage which can improve sleep and relieve stress.

You can choose a one hour massage or a 90 minute massage appointment, in Shiatsu or Remedial Massage.

After a brief consultation, Kuniko will tailor your treatment to your needs for an effective, personalised treatment. She may combine both methods to ensure the best results.
